CE Requirements

Producers
36-hours of insurance CE, including 3-hours of ethics are required every 3-year license term. Only 18 hours (50% of the total CE requirement) may be obtained through self-study. The remaining 18 hours must be completed in a classroom environment.

Crop Producers
18-hours of insurance CE, including 3-hours of ethics are required every 3-year license term. Only 9 hours (50% of the total CE requirement) may be obtained through self-study. The remaining 9 hours must be completed in a classroom environment.

State required training for insurance producers that sell annuity products.

Initial Training
Hours: 4
Frequency: One-time training must be complete prior to selling annuity products. This requirement is separate from the current requirement for Indexed Insurance.
